Travel up the Birdsville Track to William Creek for two overnight stays. Included in this adventure is a two-hour flight across the lake to see the multitude of birds that have come to take advantage of this rare flooding event, to breed and raise their chicks - like the Banded Stilts that have not had a breeding event for many years, are now breeding here in their tens of thousands.
