Jolly Goodfellows - Birding

The Outback

2006 has been nominated as another "Year of the Outback," and therefore we are proud to offer two animal and birding experiences in South Australia, and a 10-Day Birdwatching safari through the Strzelecki Desert, visiting Innamincka, Coongie Lakes, the Cooper, Cameron Corner, Mount Wood Station, and Mootwingee National Park in western New South Wales.

In conjunction with Australian Wildlife Conservancy's sanctuaries at Scotia in NSW and Yookamurra in South Australia, we'll show you amazing Australian mammals, marsupials and birds that are very easy to see as they roam about in their natural habitat

These are 6-Day and 9-day safaris.

As well as the many Australian Mammals and Marsupials in their natural environment, enjoy the huge range of bird species in the Riverland Biosphere. Experience an overnight stay in a sheep station homestead, and marvel at the enormity of the Outback as you travel through the Olary Plain in the North-East pastoral country.
